Pick Your Influencer ("PYI," "we," "us," or "our") is an influencer marketing platform operated by Perform100X. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when brands, influencers, agencies, and other users ("you") interact with our website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Platform").
By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Information We Collect
a) Contact & Account Information
When you sign up, submit an inquiry, request a demo, or fill out a campaign brief, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number / WhatsApp number
- Company or brand name
- Job title / designation
- City and country
b) Influencer / Creator Information
If you register as a creator or influencer, we additionally collect:
- Social media handles and profile links (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, etc.)
- Follower count, engagement rate, and audience demographic data (where accessible via platform APIs or provided by you)
- Content samples, portfolio links, and rate cards
- Bank account or UPI details for payouts (collected securely via our payment processor)
c) Campaign & Transaction Information
- Campaign briefs, budgets, deliverables, and timelines
- Messages exchanged between brands and creators on the Platform
- Payment and billing details (processed via third-party payment gateways; we do not store full card numbers)
- Invoices and transaction history
d) Usage & Device Information
- IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent, click patterns, and referral source
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)
e) Information from Third Parties
- Publicly available social media data used for influencer verification and audience-authenticity checks
- Data from marketing and analytics partners
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Create and manage your account
- Match brands with relevant influencers using our AI recommendation system
- Facilitate campaign communication, contracts, and payments
- Verify influencer authenticity and detect fraudulent engagement
- Send campaign updates, transactional emails, and – where you've opted in – marketing communications
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
- Analyze Platform usage to improve features, performance, and security
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) or other applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Consent – for marketing communications, non-essential cookies, and optional data fields
- Contractual necessity – to provide services you've signed up for (account creation, campaign management, payouts)
- Legitimate interest – for fraud prevention, Platform security, and service improvement
- Legal obligation – for tax, accounting, and regulatory compliance
You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as necessary, with:
- Brands and Influencers – profile and campaign-relevant information shared between matched parties to facilitate collaboration
- Service Providers – payment processors, cloud hosting providers, email/SMS delivery services, and analytics providers, bound by confidentiality obligations
- Legal & Regulatory Authorities – where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public
- Business Transfers – in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users where required
We do not share your contact details with third-party advertisers for their own marketing purposes without your consent.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you logged in and remember preferences
- Understand how visitors use the Platform (analytics)
- Measure the performance of campaigns and marketing efforts
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit some Platform features. Where required by law, we will request your consent via a cookie banner before setting non-essential cookies.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to:
- Provide the services you've requested
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
Campaign and transaction records are typically retained for the duration of your account plus a period required for regulatory compliance. You may request earlier deletion, subject to Section 8.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards – including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure payment processing – to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Withdraw consent for processing based on consent
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity (as permitted under the DPDP Act)
- Lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer (Section 12) or the relevant Data Protection Board / regulatory authority

9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information.
10. International Data & Cross-Border Transfers
Pick Your Influencer operates in India and supports brands and campaigns across the GCC region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, and others). Where personal data is transferred outside your home country, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
11. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or social media platforms (e.g., an influencer's Instagram or YouTube profile). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
